Gurudwara Gau Ghat Sahib - Ludhiana

It is located at the bank of Buddha Nala stream on Gau Shala Road near Division No. 3, Ludhiana City.  It is said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh Guru, visited here. The Nawab of Lodhi, Jalaudin, came to pay reverence to Guru Ji. He also requested him to save Ludhiana from flooding River Sutlej. Guru Ji asked him to leave everything to the will of God. In due course, River Sutlej altered its way.

Gurudwara Kirpan Bhenta Sahib - Machiwara

It is located at 2kms from Gurudwara Nabi Khan and Gurudwara Ghani Khan in Machhiwara town in District Ludhiana. It is said that when Guru Gobind Singh Ji, tenth Sikh Guru, was stopped by the Mughal forces when they were moving out of Machhiwara town disguised as ‘Uchch Da Pir.’in order to check his identity, the Mughal Commander gave him food which they took after presenting it to the holy ‘Kirpan.’


Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha

The Gurudwara was gracefully established by the residents of BRS Nagar, Ludhiana in early 1982. Over the years, the Gurudwara has become a magnificent building spread over a large area. The atmosphere inside the Gurudwara is very much pure and humane with the recitations of Gurbani and other social and religious activities.

Bhaini Sahib

Bhaini Sahib Gurudwara is located at 25 kms distance towards the east of Ludhiana - Chandigarh Highway. The Gurudwara is connected by an approach road of about 3kms. Bhaini Sahib is the holy centre for the sect of Namdharis who come from far flung places to pay their reverences here. A special feature of Gurudwara Bhaini Sahib is that there isn’t any tap or hand pump in the whole village an the residents have to drink water from the wells as a mark of simplicity.


Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib

Dukh Niwaran Sahib Gurudwara is located in the centre of the city in Field Ganj, near Jagraon Bridge, District Ludhiana. Although it is not a place with historical significance, the Gurudwara is still doing a great job of Spreading the message of Sikh Gurus all over. Most of the local channels of Punjab show its live telecast in the mornings and evenings.
